October 2017

This month Jay Epstein (https://twitter.com/jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com/) kicked off the Relativity for Event Management Group Project. This project is a group effort from our Broward Drupal members to create an Event Management application using Jay's Relativity + Drupal 8: http://jay-epstein.com/relativity/overview

We covered the following topics:

- Review of project deliver-ables
- Time management review per assignee
- Road blocks and problems
- Jay also reviewed different aspects of the application, so all Broward Drupal members can be kept up-to-date on the progress of the project and decide if/when/how they want to contribute
- Beau Heath ( https://twitter.com/beautheath ) gave the PM recap and marching orders.

On the project, we also have David Shaal ( https://3paces.com/ ) as the Lead Back-end Developer and Gregg Shanefelt ( https://www.macchiatomarketing.com/ ) as the Lead Front-end Developer.

Claudio Luis Vera, a.k.a modulist and project UX/Design Lead ( https://simple-theory.com/ ) discussed the design of the application, including mood boards for photography choices. He went on to talk about design and UI best practices, including how they apply to our site that we are building.

We will be sharing more about this project in future meetups, including the tools we are using for this project.

We had three remote users and ten in person.
